Vector Climbing’s Philosophy

Hi, I’m Lohan.

I’m a climbing coach based in Squamish, BC. I've spent years coaching climbers across all disciplines and levels, and what I care about most isn't “exactly” training — it's the goal and the process of building yourself up to achieve it.

I got into coaching because I kept seeing climbers plateau far below their true potential. And with time, I developed an approach to help them bridge this gap.

The feeling of seeing a friend or a client realize a truly ambitious goal has now become as powerful as realizing my own.

I built Vector around a unique idea: start with the goal (i.e. potential), and build everything backwards from there.

Every client I work with gets my full attention, a completely custom plan, and a direct line to me whenever they need it. Your goal is now our goal.

As your coach, I bring years of road-tested training, four years as Head Coach at The Climbing Academy, and experience working with athletes 1:1 both remotely and in-person. My academic background in Mathematics and Liberal Arts informs an analytic and holistic approach to climbing performance.
